Advent: Joy

For his anger lasts only a moment, but his favor lasts a lifetime! Weeping may last through the night, but JOY comes with the morning. [Psm 30:5]

Advent: Peace

Through Jesus, we can find perfect peace.  "Peace I leave with you, my peace I give to you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid."  [John 14:27]

Thanksgiving

It's more than just a day to gobble til you wobble!

Faith

If God said He will do something for you, He will do it FOR you.  Have faith and look towards Jesus--don't be deceived by the "giants in the land."

Faith Training

God sent 10 plagues not only to show Pharaoh that He is God and the Israelites are His chosen people, but He also used the plagues to build up the faith of Moses and the Israelites.  Just like a toddler learning to walk, the Holy Spirit will guide you in life helping your faith to grow so when the time comes, you will have the "Jehovah Strength" needed to part the waters.

Break Every Chain

Just like the demon possessed man, if you run to Jesus, He will break every chain that is binding you. [Luke 8:26]

For Rent

If you had a house for rent, how would you choose who to rent it to?

Fiery Faith

If the Lord is God, follow Him! but if Baal is god, then follow him.[1 Kings 18:21]   When you choose to follow Jesus and make him Lord of your life, acknowledge Him in everything you do.

Elijah

In our life, there are hills...and there are valleys... One minute we feel that through Jesus, we can conquer anything..and then the next, we're running scared.  The story of Elijah reminds us to not forget who we are in Christ Jesus.
